Khmer Keyboard — Type Khmer Online

Type Khmer script right in your browser with a free virtual Khmer keyboard. It uses the NiDA layout — Cambodia's national standard and the same layout built into Windows, macOS, iPhone, and Android — with romanized hints on every key so you can find letters by sound. Click the on-screen keys or type on your physical keyboard; letters convert to Khmer automatically. No account, no install, works on mobile.

Set up a Khmer keyboard on your device

  • iPhone & iPad: Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard → Khmer
  • Android (Gboard): Gboard settings → Languages → Add keyboard → Khmer (ខ្មែរ)
  • Windows 10/11: Settings → Time & Language → Language & region → Add a language → Khmer, then switch with Win+Space
  • Mac: System Settings → Keyboard → Text Input → Input Sources → Edit → + → Khmer

Because every platform ships the same NiDA layout, what you practice on this page transfers directly to a real Khmer keyboard on your own device.
